Bringing the Spirit of Music City at The Nashville Social Club

Southern Hospitality, Music, and Great Vibes. Love All, Y'all!

I had the pleasure of helping a husband and wife team build their vision of creating a Nashville-style music venue, restaurant, and retail experience inspired by the Music City and it’s hometown southern hospitality with a modern twist. Both seasoned professionals from the music and hospitality industries are filled with passion and vision and ready with solid business sense to bring this concept to life.

We started with a location filled with architectural challenges, but we worked together to maximize the potential and get the biggest bang for the dollar for this start-up venture.

We started with insights into the modern Nashville landscape of restaurants, venues, and retail concepts and carved out their unique offering and positioning. We then developed mood boards to capture the look and feel and created the brand logo, voice, and food styling. We then focused on the space with space planning, renders, and design intents for them to give guidance to their architects, general contractors, and specialty vendors. Renderings were also created to inspire and inform founding members and for PR releases.

The Branded environment consisted of exterior design, brand, street signage, mural design, and venue marquees. The restaurant section consisted of upgrades to the existing restaurant, bar, food retail, atrium room, restrooms, and the soft note stage, bringing live music to the restaurant experience. Other areas in this space included a wander wall that could showcase the owners vast experience in the music industry. Additionally, we rendered a Nashville-inspired retail area to inspire potential vendors to how the spaces could be leased. Examples included vintage clothing, souvenirs, and or record and guitars shops. The Swan Music venue area consisted of the theatrical music venue entrance and the Grand Nashville-style space flexible for lounge to high capacity venue seating and flexibility for honky tonk dance events, catering, and special events. The concept also included a green room for employees and visiting artists. This first concept is now thriving and building a community in Carson City, Nevada, and I am looking forward to this concept expanding its food and music circuit, bringing the spirit of music city to your neighborhood.
