“It’s all about creating remarkable, meaningful, and human experiences!”
Francesca is a creative thought leader with over 20 years of experience creating story-driven immersive brand experiences for some of the top brands in the world.
What I do?
Hello, I specialize in creating story-driven immersive brand experiences. Suppose you want to elevate your customer experience for a retail store, pop-up, event, exhibit, museum, resort, or other hospitality environment. In that case, I can help you create a memorable connected experience. Available for consulting and or contract projects, I help envision, brand strategize, pitch, design, and detail all touchpoints and stories throughout the experience journey. I also help coordinate and bring all multi-disciplinary teams together to create a holistic consumer experience, from ideation to completion.

-
Dream it.
It all starts with an idea. You want to create an impactful experience that builds connected customer relationships. I begin with a strategy based on insights and a clear understanding of your brand and customer. I help craft a narrative and map the journey, and develop creative direction for every touchpoint bringing together the concept to help present the idea generating alignment between all stakeholders.
-
Design it.
Now we have a clear roadmap and start to work on the details. I help lead creative direction to various teams involved to orchestrate the vision, collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure a holistic experience. Depending on the project, I can support with planning, design, details, 3D renders, custom fixtures, digital integration, storytelling, marketing elements, interactive touchpoints, styling, and experiential touchpoints.
-
Build it.
It's now time to bring it all to fruition. I help coordinate progress updates with team members, architects, contractors, vendors, producers, and various specialty trades to ensure design intents come together by reviewing prototypes and drawings, communicating throughout the process, and working together to help bring all design elements on time and on budget through to opening day.
What People Are Saying
“A clear understanding and a keen eye”
As Founder and President of a leading entertainment design company throughout the late ’80s, ’90s, and into the millennium, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most creative people in the industry. However, it wasn’t until Francesca Krane joined Stage Craft in the early 1990s that I got to experience what designing and delivering a collective vision means. Francesca’s ability to listen, comprehend and research to fulfill and deliver some of the most dynamic scenic, exhibit and environment designs is astonishing. From top-grossing celebrities to Fortune 500 industry-leading companies and world-recognized media and marketing firms, world-class projects were delivered on point, on budget with passion.

“She is an expert in what she does and driven to make a change: Two great qualities in a colleague.”
I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Francesca Krane as part of the retail design team at Adidas. Her passion for consumer experiences, retail performance, and collaboration across all functions is inspiring. In addition, she is an expert in what she does and driven to make a change: two great qualities in a colleague. At Adidas, she has challenged the brand to elevate its game and make world-class retail experiences around the globe. And, thanks to many of her efforts, that’s what it’s beginning to do.

“Francesca is strategy-driven, balancing design creativity with practical business goals.”
I have had the pleasure of working with Francesca in different capacities. In each case, she has played a pivotal role in the success of the projects we have collaborated on, specifically:
King Retail Solutions (2005-2007) KRS specializes in the interior design of retail environments and the design and production of interior decor and in-store communications. When Francesca was first assigned to work on one of my significant accounts, it was apparent that she brought a different approach to the design process than I had experienced with other designers. Francesca does not start designing without understanding the client’s brand and the specific project’s strategy and goals. If the client could not articulate those, she would collaborate to define the strategy and goals that enhanced their business. She is strategy-driven, balancing design creativity with practical business solutions.
RTC (2009-2011) When I joined RTC, Francesca had already been working with our major client (an international footwear and apparel company). At RTC, she developed fixture programs for flagship and wholesale projects and hired and led a team to support store layout planning for the client’s fleet of retail projects. Francesca is self-motivated and self-directed, working directly with the client’s design/visual/operations teams to develop and execute store and fixture programs that meet the brand’s goals, making her so valuable to our client that they recruited her from RTC.

“Strategic Direction & Design Leadership.”
I've known and worked closely with Francesca for just over a year… In my 20+ years as a creative, she is easily one of the best creative leaders I've had the good fortune to work with. Her passion for the craft of creating brand-led experiences and her vision for the project are inspiring. She leads by supporting the creative process, mentoring individuals and the team dynamic, caring that all bring their best, guiding where necessary, and letting talent flourish where possible. Beyond that, she brings as good (or better) than she asks for from everyone, always pushing the bar higher. She's one of the few who I would jump at the chance to work with again.
